Michaelmas Festival

The Fourth Grade and the Nursery present a skit Libby tells the story of the princess and the dragon

We celebrated our wonderful fall festival of Michaelmas on Tuesday September 30, 2003, after having been rained out on the weekend. Traditionally, this festival is marked by the love and warmth of our families coming together to celebrate the call of St. Michael to "wake up, to look around us, to beware of the dragon."

Below are some photos of last year's Michaelmas festival.

This is not the current site of Orchard Valley Waldorf School. I designed the site and maintained it for the school from its founding in 2004 through 2011. I have reproduced it here for historical as well as sentimental reasons, and it includes much out of date material. The school's current site can be found at www.ovws.org. — Numa Haase
